BRITTANY GATES BREARD

Brittany is a newly licensed attorney in Ouachita Parish; however, she has grown up submerged in the legal field with 15 years of experience with working with her father as a legal assistant. Before becoming an attorney, she spent ten years as a teacher - an experience that continues to shape the way she practices law. In the classroom, she learned to communicate complex ideas clearly, listen carefully, and advocate for others with patience and purpose. Those same skills now guider her work as an attorney.

As a new attorney, she brings a strong foundation in research, analysis and written advocacy, along with a people-first approach developed through teaching. She understands that legal issues can feel overwhelming and she strives to ensure her clients feel informed, heard, and empowered at every stage of the process. Her transition from education to law was driven by a desire to advocate beyond the classroom and help individuals navigate systems that directly affect their lives. She is committed to thoughtful problem-solving, ethical representation, and lifelong learning - values that have remained constant throughout her career.
